Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Print Operator to join our team at Jark PLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and printing high-quality designs onto flexible plastic substrates and paper using our wide web flexographic printing press.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and print high-quality designs up to 8 colors onto flexible plastic substrates and paper
• Maintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the wide web flexographic printing press
• Ensure press speeds are optimized, maximizing uptime and minimizing downtime, continually checking on safe and efficient operation
• Report issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shift
• Maintain good housekeeping on the press and surrounding areas – 5S auditing
• Maintain stock levels of all necessary materials to fulfill the shift efficiently

Requirements:

• Previous experience of flexographic print – Minimum of 3-5 years
• Knowledge of Lamination and Slitting process
• Experience of mounting process
• Ability to work as a team as well as on own initiative and contribute to the continuous improvement activity
