Engine Assembly Technician

Due to ongoing projects and consistent growth, we are seeking several Engine Assembly Technicians to join our cutting-edge engine assembly facility. We have multiple openings available on our rotating shift schedule.

We are looking for individuals with practical experience in a mechanical engineering setting, as the role primarily involves the assembly of high-performance automotive engines for UK manufacturers. While prior experience in engine assembly is preferred, it is not mandatory, as our advanced assembly systems will guide you through the process. Comprehensive training will be provided; however, a strong work ethic, dedication to maintaining high-quality standards, and excellent communication skills are essential. Reliability and punctuality are also key attributes we value.

Shifts & Compensation

The initial phase of the role will involve day shifts for training purposes, after which you will transition to:

  • Rotating Shift System (weekly rotation): Monday to Friday
  • Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
  • Early Shift - 6am-2pm - 10% shift premium on top of base salary.
  • Late Shift - 2pm-10pm - 16% shift premium
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery to assemble high-quality engines.
  • Adhere to all operational processes to ensure high standards.
  • Maintain a clean work environment to minimize hazards.
  • Comply with the company's health & safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a production or similar role is preferred.
  • Understanding of production equipment functionality.
  • Familiarity with basic safety regulations and precautions (safety gear will be provided).
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and adapt to different areas of the facility as needed.
