Shift Schedule: 7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am
Compensation: £12.82-£25.64 (inclusive of holiday pay)

Vetro Housing is thrilled to announce openings for experienced hostel assistance specialists to work across various homeless shelters in Aberdare and nearby regions on a flexible and ongoing basis.
We seek individuals who are committed and enthusiastic about providing support and guidance to those facing homelessness challenges. A strong value system and an empathetic approach to individuals in supported living environments are essential.
Your responsibilities will include assisting a diverse range of individuals, including those experiencing homelessness, individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, those recovering from substance abuse, individuals who have been in care, or those escaping domestic violence.
Key Responsibilities of a Hostel Assistance Specialist:
- Ensure compliance with hostel policies and regulations
- Provide emotional support to residents
- Communicate health and safety protocols to residents
- Offer relevant information to all visitors
- Collaborate with Housing Officers to address client needs
- Promote equality and diversity within the organization
- Maintain high standards of customer care
