About the Role
Become a vital member of our team as a Culinary Assistant, where you will play an essential role in facilitating the efficient functioning of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, as well as assisting the culinary team with various tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all kitchen areas in a clean and sanitized condition, including floors, countertops, and food preparation surfaces, along with washing dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Properly disposing of waste and recyclable materials in line with company protocols.
- Receiving and organizing deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Keeping track of cleaning supplies and informing management when restocking is necessary.
- Consistently adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Supporting kitchen personnel with various tasks as needed, including food plating and serving.
- Working efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet the kitchen's needs and ensure a positive experience for our guests.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory.
