About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team as a Voice Disorders Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients with voice disorders and contribute to the development of our outpatient voice service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the voice outpatient service at Fairfield General Hospital
  • Manage a specialist caseload of patients with voice disorders, providing assessment and treatment programs
  • Participate in joint voice clinics with ENT colleagues
  • Collaborate with other speech and language therapists across the trust
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
  • Post-qualification experience working with adults with voice disorders
  • Independent working with dysphagia
  • Thorough theoretical knowledge of specialist area
  • Awareness of relevant local and national clinical guidelines
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in joint voice clinics
  • Scoping experience
  • VF competencies
  • FEEs competencies
