Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and talented Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team at de Le Cuona. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our ordering and purchasing processes, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement and Stock Control
Responsible for procuring and stock controlling fabrics, home accessories, and components, ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized and that we have a consistent supply of high-quality products.
Order Tracking and ManagementTrack and record orders, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and that any issues or discrepancies are promptly addressed.
Supplier Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, negotiating prices and terms that benefit both parties, and ensuring that our suppliers meet our quality and sustainability standards.
Price Management and NegotiationManage and negotiate prices with suppliers, ensuring that we are getting the best possible value for our products.
Forecasting and ReportingDevelop and maintain accurate forecasts of product demand, and provide regular reports to management on product performance and trends.
Liaising with Logistics AgentsLiaise with our logistics agents to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers on time and in good condition.
Department AdministrationProvide administrative support to the procurement department, including data management and record-keeping.
Sourcing and Data ManagementSource new suppliers and products, and manage our data systems to ensure that we have accurate and up-to-date information on our suppliers and products.
Maintaining Procurement Records and Sustainability CertificationsMaintain accurate records of our procurement activities, including supplier information, product specifications, and sustainability certifications.
Supporting Certification AuditsSupport our certification audits, including the GOTS annual audit process, to ensure that we meet our sustainability and social responsibility standards.
Requirements
- Experience
Proven experience (2 years+) in a procurement role or analytical role, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
Interest in the Interiors/Textiles WorldInterest in the interiors and textiles industry, with a passion for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Analytical and Communication SkillsStrong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations, and to negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders.
Time Management and OrganizationAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Attention to DetailExcellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
Technical SkillsCompetent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and previous knowledge and use of SAP software advantageous.
