We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to adults in their own homes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized treatment programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with complex physical and psychological conditions.
- Work in partnership with medical colleagues, patients, and carers to set achievable goals and facilitate discharge planning.
- Contribute to the development of the team's delivery of interventions and participate in service development initiatives.
- Provide clinical education and training to occupational therapy students and other team members.
- Manage and undertake audits to specific areas of clinical practice and service delivery.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
- Postgraduate courses and CPD in mental health and psychology-related modules.
- Leadership skills and experience of working as an Occupational Therapist across a wide range of rotations.
- Advanced knowledge in dementia and cognitive impairment.
