Associate Director Sustainable Procurement

Maxim Recruitment is seeking an experienced Associate Director Sustainable Procurement to join a leading infrastructure and real estate advisory consultancy in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams and programmes to help clients meet their social and environmental targets
  • Provide sustainable procurement management and insights across multiple projects and commissions
  • Develop and deliver sustainable procurement services and propositions
  • Play a leading role in business generation of sustainable procurement opportunities
  • Manage work/business development/career development activities
Requirements
  • Experience in sustainable procurement strategy development and implementation
  • Previous procurement consulting experience gained from either client, contractor or professional services organisation
  • Strong project team management ethos and ability to lead delivery and transformation programmes
  • Experience of embedding ISO Sustainable Procurement into procurement operations
  • Strong understanding of wider ESG legislative and regulatory environments
