About Northampton General Hospital

Northampton General Hospital is a prominent employer in the region, embarking on an exciting transformation journey. Our divisions are dedicated to enhancing efficiency and modernizing our services. We have also established a collaborative model with a neighboring healthcare institution.

With a robust team of over 200 consultants, a similar number of trainees, and approximately 60 medical undergraduates annually, we offer comprehensive healthcare services and extensive training opportunities.

In line with this vision, we have developed a state-of-the-art emergency assessment unit and are innovating new methodologies to optimize inpatient care and collaboration with our partners.

Our hospital features an excellent social hub, including a large library, a gym with a swimming pool, and an education center where meals and refreshments are available away from clinical settings. Regular educational sessions are conducted for all staff levels, providing a refreshing environment away from clinical duties.

Job Duties

Ongoing responsibility for patient care in collaboration with consultant colleagues and ensuring the department operates in accordance with the established Operational Policy and Strategic Plan is expected.

Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings, adherence to national standards, and involvement in peer review processes are essential.
