We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our inpatient Mental Health Psychology service as a Child Psychology Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Junior Doctors, OTs, Nurses, Social Workers, and Physiotherapists.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver psychological interventions to patients recovering from mental health illnesses in individual or group settings.
- Support and enhance the professional psychological care of adults with mental health diagnoses, working across all sectors of care.
- Conduct psychological assessments and interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist.
- Assist in clinically-related administration, data collection, and development of audit and research projects.
- Teach and participate in project work, contributing to the development of the team's policies and procedures.
