Your Responsibilities:
As a Conference and Review Support Officer, you will be instrumental in delivering thorough coordination and assistance for Child Protection Conferences and Reviews for Children in Care. Your outstanding customer service abilities will be essential when engaging with parents and multi-agency professionals during sensitive meetings.
You will oversee the distribution and collection of critical documents, ensure precise minute-taking, and record outcomes within the case management system. By fulfilling your statutory responsibilities, you will enhance the welfare of vulnerable children within our organization.Key Responsibilities Include:
- Scheduling dates, venues, and arrangements for Child Protection Case Conferences and Reviews.
- Collaborating with family members and representatives from various agencies during these vital meetings.
- Ensuring timely collection and distribution of necessary documents to professionals and families.
- Creating accurate and professional minutes, subject to review by external entities and courts.
- Analyzing and validating service-specific information, requesting additional details as needed.
- Managing confidential information using various computer systems and software.
- Updating and retrieving information from multiple systems/spreadsheets, manipulating data, and generating non-standard reports.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of new office and information systems.
- Providing exceptional customer service while demonstrating anti-discriminatory practices.
- Addressing complex inquiries, utilizing your developed knowledge of the service area.
- Formulating routine responses and acknowledgments to correspondence, taking initiative on behalf of the service.
- Conducting complaint investigations in accordance with corporate procedures and escalating as necessary.
- Working flexibly and efficiently to manage competing priorities while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of business processes and identifying training needs.
Requirements:
