About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counsellor Volunteer to join our team at CrossReach. As a Counsellor Volunteer, you will provide a professional counselling service to clients, working within our guidelines and under the supervision of our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a professional counselling service to clients, adhering to our guidelines and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional Counselling services to clients.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  • Meet the necessary vetting checks and registration requirements with the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Requirements
  • A diploma in Counselling or currently undergoing a Counselling diploma with a readiness to practice.
  • Completion of a minimum of 50 clinical hours for our perinatal services.
  • ACTO-approved online training course for online counselling.
  • Ability to work within our Christian Ethos and respect our values.
