Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Damp Proofing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation work required for rising damp or waterproofing treatments. This includes protecting working areas, removing defective render/plaster back to brickwork, disposing of debris, and injecting a new chemical damp proof course.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively safeguard designated work areas from damage.
  • Skilfully remove damaged render/plaster, exposing the underlying brickwork.
  • Properly bag and dispose of all debris generated during the process.
  • Accurately drill and inject a new chemical damp proof course.
  • Carry out timber treatments as required.
  • Install pacifier vents to ensure proper ventilation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the field of rising damp and waterproofing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various damp proofing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid UK driving license.
