About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join a leading mobile network operator as they shape the future of Radio networks.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Head of Mobile Network Architecture to develop the 3- and 5-year RAN strategy plans.

This is a hybrid opportunity, with 1-2 days per week expected in Reading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Requirements: Develop the key requirements for Transport Network RFI/RFPs.
  • Evaluate Vendor Responses: Assess the responses of vendors in detail, identifying gaps and strengths.
  • Champion Radio's Plans: Challenge and propose amendments to Radio's current plans and thinking.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, reviewing technical specifications and documents.
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide expert support for internal high-level stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Hold a subject matter expert level of experience on Transport and Transmission Network technologies and the vendor ecosystem.
  • Commercial Acumen: Have held a senior role with strong experience of supporting RFx activities.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and presentation skills, able to communicate complex technical ideas and concepts to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
