Position Overview:

Service Care Solutions is seeking to hire several skilled Field Installation Engineers to join our dynamic team. Our client has a rich history of over 30 years in providing exceptional installation and maintenance services across various sectors.

Company Background:

With a strong reputation in industries such as nuclear, defense, and national infrastructure, our client specializes in the installation and servicing of industrial door systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team to install, repair, and maintain a variety of industrial doors and their associated hardware.
  • Ensure projects are completed within designated timelines while adhering to high-quality standards.
  • Complete all necessary health, safety, and environmental (HSE) documentation and submit it to the office post-project.

Work Environment:

This role requires a significant amount of travel, with engineers working away from home Monday to Friday, and occasionally on weekends.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC), including a DBS Check and Criminal Record Check.
  • UK Citizenship is mandatory, along with a valid UK/British Passport.
  • Demonstrated continuous UK employment for the past three years and proof of UK residency for the last five years.
  • Successful candidates will need to pass medical and drug & alcohol tests.
  • A valid CSCS card is required; SSSTS card is necessary for supervisory roles.
  • Previous experience in mechanical or electrical site work is essential.
  • IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous, and the company is willing to cover the costs for obtaining these qualifications.
  • Experience with security doors, gates, barriers, and industrial doors is beneficial but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

The standard working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with a 2 PM finish on Fridays.
