Position Overview:

As an Electronics Test Specialist at Qualitrol Company, you will play a crucial role in establishing and refining testing methodologies for various components, products, and systems. Your expertise will be essential in crafting specialized hardware, including test jigs, fixtures, and platforms, to facilitate thorough functional assessments of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and related components. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing solutions for our suppliers' manufacturing processes, while also offering guidance and training to both suppliers and fellow test technicians.

Key Duties:

  • Formulate and enhance testing protocols for products and systems
  • Engineer hardware solutions for effective functional testing
  • Deploy and set up testing solutions for supplier operations
  • Deliver training and mentorship to team members
  • Conduct Customer Factory Witness tests
  • Assist product design engineers with testing requirements
  • Draft test procedures for outsourced assemblies
  • Travel to partner facilities for training and setup
  • Diagnose issues down to the component level

Qualifications:

  • HND / HNC in Electronics or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years)
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in testing electronic devices
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in troubleshooting electronic PCBAs
  • Familiarity with electronic measurement tools
  • Proficient in PC applications, including MS Office
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Analytical, methodical, and technically inclined
