About the Role

Linde Material Handling, a part of the KION Group, is seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team in the Wakefield area. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing our share of new and used truck opportunities within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hit volume targets, market share, and coverage through effective sales strategies and prospecting.
  • Develop and execute daily plans to meet sales activity requirements, ensuring accurate weekly forecasts.
  • Identify customer needs and conduct site surveys to provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present quotes to customers, highlighting financial benefits and product demonstrations.
  • Promote the full range of Linde products and services to customers.
Requirements

We are looking for a commercially focused individual with a proven track record in sales, preferably in the forklift or material handling sector. You should be self-motivated, IT literate, and possess excellent communication skills. A competitive, uncapped commission-based package and company car are offered.
