Job Title: Express & Same-Day Van Planner

We are seeking an experienced Express & Same-Day Van Planner to join our team at Challenge-trg Recruitment. As a key member of our Transport and Fleet Department, you will play a crucial role in managing our fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers, ensuring compliance with current legislation and providing a cost-effective service to our Transport Budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of the Company's fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers, ensuring continuous roadworthiness and compliance with current legislation.
  • Manage the Company's Operator's Licence, ensuring it remains compliant and maintains an acceptable green OCRS score.
  • Provide a cost-effective service to the Transport Budget.
  • Have a clear understanding of the Company's policies, procedures, and vision, and how the Transport and Fleet Departments contribute to these.
Requirements:
  • Background in Management of the Fleet's headcount and planning express or same-day van drivers.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
