This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established workshop and benefit from a competitive package.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles to ensure road worthiness and reliability to DVSA standards.
• Diagnostics and repair of mechanical issues to include steering, suspension, brake systems, fuel & air systems, transmission and driveline.
• Diagnostics and repair of electrical issues including ABS, EBS, HVAC and multiplex CAN systems.
• Replacement of major units
• Repairs including engine repair/rebuild
• Use of Dealer level and generic diagnostic equipment to assist in time-efficient repair
• To repair and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards and schedules
• To always maintain health and safety standards and work within company guidelines and safe working practices
Requirements:
• Recognised apprenticeship or proven work history
• City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3
• Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair and welding would be advantageous
