Key Responsibilities:
  • Quarterly Financial Reviews: Analyse and review quarterly financial results for assigned Legal Entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of financial services in line with Service Level Agreements, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare and review detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining financial governance and accuracy.
  • Journal Entries: Manage complex journal entries, particularly related to holding companies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly financial reporting packs, contributing to Group and Management Reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Audit Support: Assist in external audits, preparing Extended Trial Balances (ETBs) and reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance.
  • Internal Controls: Conduct monthly and quarterly internal control checks to maintain financial governance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentorship and support to junior financial accountants, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Treasury & Intercompany Management: Assist in preparing Treasury accounting outputs and regularly review intercompany positions for all entities.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in projects focused on enhancing financial processes and improving efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications:
  • Working towards a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Experience with diverse regional teams and global ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in a Shared Services Centre environment.
Technical Knowledge:

Proficient in US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, with experience in statutory reporting and financial analysis.

Organisational Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and meet deadlines under pressure, with strong organisational and time management skills.

Independence & Collaboration:

Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving:

A proactive approach to identifying improvements and solving problems, with a strong analytical mindset.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Hybrid working is available.
