Procurement Director

At StandardAero, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our procurement function and ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver our business objectives.

• Establish a Safe and Efficient Procurement Environment: Develop and implement clear guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient procurement process.
• Supply Chain Quality Management: Communicate and develop the Supply Chain quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stock Management: Ensure fit-for-purpose stock taking activities to maintain stock accuracy and cover minimum annual stock coverage requirements.
• Supply Chain Management: Maintain and develop systems to manage supply escalations and AOG spares in line with changing operational requirements.
• Reverse Supply Chain: Manage timely reverse supply chain to return unserviceable assets from in-work projects.
• Order Management: Manage systems to remove overdues, cancellations, or changes to purchase orders to keep the order book current and correct.
• Financial Management: Ensure accuracy of MJDI accounting.
• Inventory Management: Routine analysis and actioning of aged inventory and setting of target stock levels to maximize stock efficiency.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance customer relationship and communication plan with internal stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Deployment and coaching of data analysis to promote CI and forecast emerging issues.
• Supplier Management: Maintain reliable supplier relations both internally and externally.
• Market Research: Research and monitor market trends, emerging technology, and regulatory changes.
• Supplier Portfolio Development: Development of the approved supplier portfolio to increase agility and cost for our customers.
• Compliance: Ensure system compliance to industry and market regulations and lead the enterprise to get ahead of changes as they emerge.
• Project Management: Project manage closing and/or incoming programmes to the customer's statement of work.
• Leadership: Sponsor development of direct reports and champion development of everyone within the function and the business unit where appropriate.
• Performance Management: Establishing clear objectives for all roles and maximizing development through annual performance cycles.
• Continuous Improvement: Support a climate of continuous improvement to assist Safety, Productivity, Quality, and to create a leaner environment.

• Commercial Rigor: Maintain commercial rigor in a tri-party environment (Supplier-Customers).

• Managing Safely Training: Completion of Managing Safely training.
• MRP Part 145 Training: Completion of MRP Part 145 training.
• MS Office Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office.
• Data Visualization Software: Proficiency in data visualization software (i.e., Power BI).
• ERP Super-User: ERP super-user.
• MJDI Material Accountant or Unit Application Administrator: MJDI Material Accountant (MA) or MJDI Unit Application Administrator (UAA).
• CIPS Level 5 or Higher: CIPS Level 5 or higher.

• Chinook TLCS Contract Experience: Experience of Chinook TLCS contract.
• Military or Aviation Supply Experience: Military or aviation supply experience.
• Civil or Military Maintenance and Repair Organisation Experience: Civil or military maintenance and repair organisation (Part 145) experience.
• DLOC/ILOC Experience: DLOC/ILOC experience.
