Service Manager

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the daily running of supported living placements, ensuring that they are delivered in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Supervise and provide guidance, support, directions, and leadership to staff
* Model best practice approaches during challenging behaviors, ensuring coherent and consistent high levels of care
* Register as a Service Manager with OFSTED and work directly with and as part of the senior management team for the best interest of the young people, staff, and company
* Be designated safeguarding lead

**Key Tasks**

* Ensure policies, procedures, and frameworks that underpin the home are up to date and effectively implemented daily, representing best practice and reflective of the company's inclusion and culture
* Establish and use methods to evaluate the quality of care provided by staff within the home and make improvements where necessary and encourage continuous improvement
* Model the best practice approaches to working with and supported young people with challenging behaviors
* Ensure regular use of effective handovers and debriefs for staff

**What We Offer**

* 40-hour week, 9-5 on average
* 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
