Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Jenrick Engineering Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager to deliver safe, timely, and effective maintenance services.
  • Perform reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize site efficiency.
  • Utilize panel reading drawings, fault finding skills, and experience with control systems, PLC controls, and motor theory to resolve electrical issues.
  • Conduct overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery, including PLCs, to maintain optimal performance.
  • Support maintenance shutdowns and contribute to the development of maintenance plans and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Minimum level 3 NVQ/C&G qualification in electrical maintenance with hands-on experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and control systems.
