About GIC Private Equity's Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG)
The Sustainability Solutions Group (SSG) within GIC Private Equity is dedicated to identifying and investing in companies driving innovation in climate technology and environmental solutions. We focus on minority growth and venture private equity investments across a range of sustainability projects, employing both direct and fund investment strategies globally.
Your Role: Investment Analyst
Based in London and reporting to the Head of Sustainability Solutions, Europe, you will play a key role in evaluating and executing investments within SSG's portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Evaluating and executing minority growth and venture private equity investments
- Assessing green technology asset/project-level financing opportunities
- Contributing to the due diligence process, including financial analysis and market research
- Assisting in negotiations, deal structuring, and legal closings
- Participating in special projects related to climate technology trends and stakeholder engagement
Your Qualifications:
- Strong academic background with 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure, or consulting.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ideally experience in direct investments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- A positive work attitude, high energy, and a strong desire to learn and contribute to a dynamic team.
- Experience in renewables, climate technologies, energy/power markets, project/infrastructure development and finance, or a science/engineering background is highly desirable.
