Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our nursery and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

About the Role

The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to provide strong leadership and effective management of the nursery. This will involve overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the nursery by assessing, evolving, and enhancing policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality care and education
  • Cultivate strong, positive relationships with parents, families, and the local community to create a warm and inclusive environment
  • Play a key role in shaping and implementing the nursery's curriculum to ensure an enriching and stimulating learning experience for children
  • Actively contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Managerial and leadership experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of child development and educational best practices
  • Hold a Level 3 in Early Years or above, showcasing a solid theoretical foundation in early years education
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, paired with outstanding interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate the team
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards within the childcare sector
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, essential for effectively liaising with staff, parents, and external partners
