Science Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our team in a secondary school in Uppingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry, Biology, or Physics to students in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Science to students in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher with QTS in the UK or Unqualified with relevant UK experience in schools
  • Experience with varied ability levels
  • High standard of literacy
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and a team player
