Geo-4D Graduate Survey Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Survey Geoscientist to join our team at Geo-4D. As a key member of our Geodata Acquisition department, you will play a crucial role in leading onsite survey operations, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs), uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs), and geophysical/survey techniques to characterize sites.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading onsite survey operations, ensuring data collection and processing meet project requirements
  • Conducting data processing, interpretation, and associated reporting
  • Maintaining equipment and sensors, ensuring optimal performance
  • Collaborating with the Offshore Geoconsultancy department on offshore renewable energy projects
  • Performing project management duties, supporting business development, and contributing to day-to-day operations

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in earth sciences or a related field, with a postgraduate degree preferred
  • Experience with topographical and geophysical survey techniques, loading, reviewing, and geoprocessing data in ArcGIS software
  • Technical report writing and communication skills, with an interest in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
