About the Security Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our dedicated team at Securitas Security Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for protecting critical information and assets across various domains. Your duties will include maintaining site security, protecting property and assets, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and monitor access at various points on the site
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure site security and detect potential security breaches
  • Escort contractors and visitors, manage access passes and vehicle bookings, and maintain accurate records
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
  • Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate potential security risks
Requirements
  • SIA Licence and high level of security clearance
  • Full UK Driving Licence with own transport and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Right to work in the UK and 5-year checkable history
  • 1-2 years of previous security experience, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures
  • Experience with gatehouse operations, CCTV, and Access Control passes, with a strong attention to detail
  • IT Literate and proficient in using security-related software and systems
