Salary: £12.05/hour

Hours: 12 hours/day (including 1 hour unpaid break)

Shift Pattern: 4 Days on/4 Days off

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Mitie team as a Cleaning and Waste Operative. In this role, you will work within a warehouse environment, maintaining a clean and safe working space for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens
  • Use of appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products
  • Maintenance of equipment, ensuring it is kept clean, well-maintained, and in safe working order
  • Quick response to client call-outs and compliance with Health & Safety legislation and policies (training provided)
  • Effective waste disposal management

Requirements:

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual with a flexible approach to the role. Communicative English is essential, and you may be required to take an English language assessment. Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be required to complete the Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
