About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Geoscience Reporting Lead Manager to join our team at Rovco. As a key member of our survey department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of geophysicists to deliver high-quality geophysical data and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a geophysical data QA/QC interpretation and reporting strategy aligned to the objectives of the business.
  • Lead and manage a team of geophysicists to produce high-quality data deliverables and reports.
  • Ensure that the scope of all projects is delivered safely while meeting all financial and schedule-related targets.
  • Act as the escalation point for any project-related incidents/issues and ensure they are resolved in the most effective and efficient way.
  • Deploy offshore as required to adequately manage survey-related issues/incidents.
  • Be accountable for all geoscience-related processes and procedures, ensuring a best-practice approach to everything we do.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the survey team and the broader business to help create a culture of excellence and drive efficiencies.
Requirements
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Marine Geophysics/Marine Geology or equivalent.
  • Programme or project management qualification (desirable).
  • Significant experience in the acquisition, interpretation, and reporting of geophysical data using industry-standard software.
  • Experience in the supervision and line management of geophysicists.
  • Technical understanding of survey technology systems, equipment, and software.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working with integrated management systems (ISO).
  • Dedication to quality control and assurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop a team.
