Position Overview
As a Treasury Forecasting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial strategy of NatWest. This position presents an opportunity for a motivated professional to embrace a rewarding challenge, focusing on the creation of the bank's Funding and Liquidity strategies along with related deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the formulation of the bank's Funding & Liquidity plan under various scenarios, including both standard and stress conditions, while proposing comprehensive funding and liquidity strategies.
- Support the execution of funding and liquidity plans, which encompass the 9+3 budget cycle, ICAAP, and stress testing requirements from regulatory bodies.
- Forecast and recommend actions for both internal stakeholders and external reporting.
- Review and critically assess inputs from various business units to ensure accuracy in the Funding & Liquidity forecasting process.
- Ensure adherence to funding and liquidity risk appetites, recommending corrective measures as necessary.
- Facilitate the integration of Group funding, liquidity, and Holding Company plans, considering the implications for Capital and Treasury P&L.
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to enhance forecasting capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly within the financial services sector, is essential. Familiarity with funding and liquidity concepts is advantageous but not mandatory.
Additionally, candidates should possess:
- A qualification in accountancy, banking, or treasury management.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and management.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
