**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to drive individual and team performance and development.
  • Work closely with the HSSEQ department to ensure the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely reports using Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and build monthly reports.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and report significant breaches of policy and/or regulation to the Operations Manager or appropriate person.
  • Assist in financial planning and budgetary control, inventory control, and disposal cost effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute business plans with a primary focus on profit growth.
  • Perform ad-hoc responsibilities as requested by the Operations Manager to ensure the successful operation of the facility, including flexibility to cover night shifts when required.

**Requirements:**

  • UK driving license.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and able to adapt to changing workloads and priorities without compromising high standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while being a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across the Microsoft suite and a practical understanding of data entry and reporting applications.
