Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Education Teacher to provide long-term cover at one of our partner schools. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching physical education to all key stages, assessing students' abilities, and aiding their skill development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to students of all ages and abilities
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their development
  • Lead lessons and present skills and lessons clearly and efficiently
  • Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Physical Education Teacher, preferably in a long-term cover role
  • Excellent behavior management skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Passion for physical education and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
