Food Service Assistant Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team at Thomas Franks Ltd. in Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food for service, adhering to good hygiene and safety practices.
  • Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy to the required standard.
  • Clear, clean, and store away food, beverages, and equipment as needed.
  • Complete all necessary cleaning and hygiene duties.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to promote a professional and flexible approach.
  • Conduct temperature checks in the service and associated areas.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work with fresh food and support with salad and sandwich preparation.
  • Previous experience serving customers in a catering establishment is preferred.
  • Team working abilities, listening skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Impeccable personal presentation, hygiene, and behavior.
  • Food hygiene certificate is preferred.
