About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Barratt Developments. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of bedroom furniture to our customers throughout the Barratt Group's operating regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all daily tasks and deliveries are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure all working processes have been carried out.
  • Ensure BD Living's products are delivered and stored safely to sites throughout the Group's regional operating areas.
  • Ensure delivery picking lists are checked and any defects are reported to the department Supervisor.
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded safely in line with operating guidelines.
  • Ensure any vehicle defects, damage or accidents are reported to the department Manager/Supervisor.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regarding safe systems of work are carried out at both operating base and Sites.
  • Comply with all site procedures when delivering and unloading furniture products as per Site guidelines.
Requirements
  • Strong practical skills essential with good customer focus.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to carry out instructions right first time.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Possess a CSCS card to the required level.
  • A full UK driving licence, minor points considered.
