Job Description

Job Title: Asset Care Improvement Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Care Improvement Lead to join our team at Diageo. As a key member of our Asset Care team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our Site Asset Care Strategy across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and coach cultural change while implementing the Site Asset Care Strategy across the site.
  • Provide mentorship and support to Packaging Team Leaders/Reliability Leads/Maintenance Support Leads for effective and aligned implementation of Manufacturing Excellence Systems (MMS).
  • Actively develop, promote and drive the implementation of MMS tools and techniques to the agreed line/area/shift plans.
  • Analyse loss & waste, validate data and provide clear strategy to prioritise and drive improvements with partners.
  • Participate, lead, sponsor & mentor ongoing prioritised improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
  • Lead the line/area/shift teams in their deployment of MMS through their regular meetings and their communication of activities.
  • Engage with the Daily & Weekly Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a process environment or similar with a consistent track record in leading people and/or small teams, projects and cross-functional team working.
  • A consistent record of utilising manufacturing excellence tools and techniques such as 5S, set up time reduction, Lean six sigma, Asset Care and DMAIC improvement techniques.
  • NEBOSH qualification or willing to work towards.
  • Intermediate project management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify loss and waste, cost saving opportunities and trends.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Maintenance techniques and data analysis, use of applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
