Senior Plant Transformation Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Plant Transformation Scientist to join our client's plant science R&D team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing the plant transformation protocol, as well as carrying out various plant transformations and plant tissue cultures.

The Role
  • Establish and develop the plant transformation protocol
  • Carry out plant transformations and plant tissue cultures
  • Assist in establishing the plant transformation team
  • Lead the team and assist with lab-based issues
  • Develop SOPs and be involved with plant sourcing, growth, and propagation
Requirements
  • Education to MSc level or above in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Experience in an industrial plant transformation environment
  • Prior demonstrable experience designing plant transformation experiments and protocols
  • Prior leadership experience
