We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fabrication Specialist to join our heat transfer team.

Compensation is competitive with opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates.

  • Execute welding tasks on pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems
  • Perform welding on various materials and thicknesses, including stainless steel, duplex, and carbon steel
  • Conduct welding in accordance with X-Ray, MPI, DPI, and UT standards
  • Utilize a range of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, MMA, and SAW
  • Set up welding equipment for different projects
  • Complete all company welding logs in compliance with procedures
  • Ensure all welds are marked with a welder ID for traceability
  • Stay updated on welding procedure documentation
  • Adhere to all workshop health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality protocols
  • Manage the issuance of consumables in line with company procedures
  • Perform general workshop tasks as required
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Qualifications
  • Time-served with a Level 3 qualification in welding and fabrication
  • Proven ability to weld using MMA, TIG, MIG, and SAW (experience in all methods preferred but not mandatory)
  • Several years of experience in welding with at least one of the aforementioned techniques
  • Experience in a medium to heavy fabrication environment
  • Forklift truck certification preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with Hydro, Power, Petrochemical, and Oil and Gas industries
  • Experience working with various material types and thicknesses
  • Ability to adhere to company quality standards
