About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Section Engineer to join our Regional Civils team at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects across the Southwest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction Record Management: Ensure accurate and timely completion of construction records, including preparation of 'as-built' drawings and schedules, and recording and testing of workmanship and materials.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain records to enable the review of work progress and provide engineering support to resolve technical problems.
  • Project Planning: Prepare 4-week lookaheads, Plan of the Week, and manage day-to-day activities for assigned sections of work.
  • RAMS and Work Packs: Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure safe execution of works.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: HNC Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience of main management systems and processes used within large multidisciplinary projects.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to liaise professionally with clients, client representatives, and the general public.
