About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Designer to join our in-house creative studio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality graphic design, video editing, motion graphics, and digital content production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake artworking, graphic design, basic video editing, and motion graphics production for both online and offline applications.
  • Support in-house brand development and conceptual campaign work by visualising new ideas and bringing creative briefs to life.
  • Act as a brand guardian by providing advice, guidance, and support for external HS2 suppliers and delivery partners developing creative content.
  • Support the management of external creative agencies on specific visual design projects.
  • Support creative idea generation and innovation as part of the wider marketing communications team.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across different departments to facilitate their creative projects and ensure on-brand delivery.
  • Liaise with the HS2 Print Production and Logistics team over requirements for print-ready artwork.
About You

We are looking for a talented and experienced Creative Designer who possesses excellent design and art working skills across print and digital channels. You should have expertise in professional design and creative software, including Adobe Creative Suite, and basic video editing skills. Ability to do own motion graphics is desirable.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, able to understand and influence others. You should be able to manage competing priorities and have a strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
