About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Relief Worker. As a Relief Worker, you will provide administrative and practical support to a colleague who requires reasonable adjustments to enable them to fulfill their role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a committed and compassionate team, delivering an outstanding experience to customers while being supported by your colleagues and Line Manager.
  • Assist a colleague with the required reasonable adjustments to support the colleague to fulfill their duties.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure the colleague's reasonable adjustments are met.
  • Work in partnership with the colleague and team members within a team environment by being a team player.
  • Have regular reviews with the colleague and line manager to ensure all expectations are being met.
  • Support the colleague when communicating with colleagues and customers.
  • Support the colleague with reasonable adjustments when attending meetings or trainings.
  • Be flexible regarding the colleague being supported.

Requirements

  • Experience of administration and the ability to use Microsoft applications.
  • Experience of support work.
  • Experience of supporting colleagues with the required reasonable adjustment (as provided for by the Equality Act).
