We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vehicle Emissions Test Technician to join our team at UTAC. As a key member of our emissions testing team, you will be responsible for conducting chassis dynamometer emissions tests on a variety of vehicles, including combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

Our team is dedicated to providing safe and efficient solutions to our customers, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for environmental sustainability and reducing vehicle emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct emissions tests on a range of vehicles, including combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles
  • Perform pre-test vehicle inspections to ensure they meet test requirements
  • Set up and operate test equipment, including instrumentation and data acquisition systems
  • Monitor test procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
  • Analyze test results using specialized software tools
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies during testing
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
Requirements
  • GSCE grades or equivalent
  • Mechanical or engineering qualification
  • Experience in emissions testing or a related field (desirable)
  • Knowledge of combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicle technology
  • Familiarity with chassis dynamometer systems and instrumentation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic testing environment
