Job Summary:

RSK Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Professional to join our team. As a Senior Geotechnical Professional, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects, providing expert advice, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete geotechnical projects, including desk studies, ground investigations, and report production
  • Design, supervise, and manage ground investigations and construction works
  • Develop earthworks designs, specifications, and supervise/verify construction
  • Conduct cliff and slope stability inspections and develop remedial designs
  • Apply knowledge of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes, ground investigation and construction contracts, and specifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or Geology, or a related field
  • Working towards chartership with a relevant professional body
  • Demonstrable experience in geotechnical desk studies, ground investigations, and report production
  • Experience in geotechnical analysis of foundations, slopes, earthworks, basements, and retaining structures
  • Desirable experience in conducting desk studies and geohazard assessments for large-scale linear infrastructure projects
