We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and qualification of analytical and production equipment across our client's business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Equipment Team's schedule to ensure timely routine maintenance and ad-hoc repairs.
- Carry out or delegate reactive repairs and qualification to lab equipment, minimising downtime and monitoring performance against KPIs.
- Develop specialist technical knowledge on a range of equipment and lead procurement processes.
- Support projects, including equipment relocation and procurement.
- Review and approve qualification data and ensure compliance with QMS records.
- Provide management updates on team performance, equipment issues, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with the Manager and maintain key relationships across the business.
- Perform tasks in accordance with company procedures and GMP principles.
- Experience with a range of laboratory equipment, particularly HPLC.
- Previous calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment.
- Preferably experienced in a GMP environment.
- Experience in leading a team is desirable, but not essential
- Excellent IT literacy and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills and experience in team management.
- Flexibility to meet the business needs.
