We are seeking a versatile Engineer with expertise in PLCs, microcontrollers, and HMIs to enhance our machine control automation within our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming PLCs using standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
  • Developing, scripting, and executing test programs to verify the functionality of machine control systems.
  • Collaborating with external vendors and contractors on automation and control projects.
  • Organizing and maintaining a comprehensive library of modular machine and user interface code using a GIT-based methodology.
  • Creating and updating electrical and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
Qualifications:

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or equivalent demonstrable experience is required.

Given the diverse nature of this role, candidates may have strong programming skills in various areas but will need to acquire knowledge in others to address the challenges we face.

Previous experience as a PLC Software Engineer, Automation Control Engineer, or Machine System Control Developer in sectors such as Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, or HVAC is advantageous. Experience programming PLCs for standalone machines is also relevant.

Familiarity with HMI programming using platforms like Android Studio or similar is preferred.

Ideally, candidates will have some background in industrial automation with PLC control, showcasing examples of how they have successfully navigated similar challenges in the past.

A genuine passion for engineering, both professionally and personally, is considered a valuable asset.
