Overview

Lionsgate Contractors is in search of an HSE Coordinator to join a prestigious Civil Engineering firm situated near Scunthorpe, engaging in significant projects throughout the Midlands and Northern England. This position is mainly office-based with frequent site inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Oversight: Oversee and ensure the efficacy of the Health & Safety Policy.
  • Documentation Management: Develop and uphold HSE-required documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that the organization fulfills all Health & Safety documentation, training, and qualification requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Keep Executive Directors and Senior Managers informed about statutory obligations and health and welfare matters.
  • Site Assessments: Perform formal Health & Safety evaluations during site visits.
  • Safety Enhancements: Propose and implement safety enhancements.
  • BMS Development: Assist in formulating processes to align with ISO updates and document management.
  • Accreditation Maintenance: Sustain and renew essential accreditations.

Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 3 years in Health & Safety management within the Civil Engineering sector.
  • Skills: Expertise in developing and executing HSE practices and documentation.
  • Evaluation: Proficient in assessing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Working Procedures.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH, NCRQ/NVQ Level 5+, IOSH (mandatory).
