Main Responsibilities

The Debrief and Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations. This includes:

  • Debriefing drivers upon their return to the depot, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
  • Verifying the completeness and accuracy of delivery paperwork, preventing potential POD queries and financial losses.
  • Completing and submitting end-of-shift reports, providing valuable insights into our operations.
  • Managing the driver debrief database, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Reviewing returned invoices for signatures and completeness, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Conducting visual inspections of returned stock against driver discrepancy sheets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Liaising with transport teams regarding failed drops and returns to the depot.
  • Providing feedback to drivers on early/late delivery performance and non-compliance issues.
  • Assisting with general transport administration, including supporting early/late delivery reporting processes and PDA compliance.
  • Ensuring driver compliance with paperwork procedures, including credits, failed or late deliveries.
  • Daily driver debriefs, providing valuable insights and communication with drivers, transport, and inbound logistics teams.
Working Hours

Specific hours of work include:

  • Saturdays: 8 hours, starting at 11am.
  • May include working Bank/Public holidays on a rota basis.
