Marine Artificial Structures Researcher

We are seeking a researcher to contribute to our project focused on the ecological, economic, and social value of marine artificial structures. The successful candidate will work with our team to inform decision-making and policy solutions for the management of marine artificial structures throughout their life stages.
EligibilityTo be eligible, applicants must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for NERC funding and in a role that meets the individual eligibility requirements. The full economic cost of the project can be up to £5,624,000, with NERC funding 80% of the cost.
Project RequirementsProjects must have a duration of 48 months and include more than one institution. Applicants may be involved in no more than two applications submitted to this funding opportunity, with only one as project lead. Project partners fund their own involvement, with minor incidental expenses, such as travel costs, funded by NERC if needed.
International CollaborationWe welcome international collaboration, but do not fund overseas organisations, except for specific costs for project co-leads from Norway and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA). International collaborators should be included as project partners.
