About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineering Lead to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: You will be responsible for designing and implementing our cloud infrastructure using AWS, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and efficient.
  2. Collaborate with Development Teams: You will work closely with our development teams to streamline continuous integration and deployment processes, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of our applications.
  3. Utilize Kafka for Data Streaming: You will utilize Kafka for efficient data streaming and messaging, ensuring our systems are optimized for performance and reliability.
  4. Automate Tasks with PHP or Python: You will work with PHP or Python to automate tasks and enhance system functionality, ensuring our systems are efficient and scalable.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Experience: You will have proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in an AWS environment, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  2. Technical Skills: You will have strong proficiency in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and PHP or Python, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment.
