We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Automotive Cleaning Specialist to enhance our operations at Arnold Clark.
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Alternate Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (paid at time and a half)
Role Responsibilities
As an Automotive Cleaning Specialist, you will be tasked with ensuring that all vehicles are maintained in pristine condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Thoroughly cleaning both sold and stock vehicles to a high standard.
- Utilizing a high-powered pressure washer for external cleaning.
- Employing a high-powered vacuum for interior cleaning and shampooing.
- Using polishing and buffing machines to enhance vehicle bodywork.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals.
- Maintaining and securing all equipment and machinery, reporting any defects, and following manufacturer instructions and PPE guidelines.
- Meeting set timeframes and performance targets.
- Managing vehicle schedules through an online diary system.
- Completing daily records of work performed.
- Assisting with additional tasks to support the branch as needed.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- A willingness to engage in training programs.
While prior valet experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. We are open to providing training for candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and meet the essential criteria.
